Lost Sundays Distillery sells alcohol. Under Queensland law, it is illegal to sell or supply alcohol to a person under the age of 18 years.

Our age requirement

All purchases of alcohol from Lost Sundays Distillery — online and in-store — are restricted to persons who are 18 years of age or older.

This requirement applies to:

• All online purchases through the Lost Sundays website
• All in-store purchases at our Airlie Beach distillery
• All wholesale and trade orders

We do not sell or supply alcohol to minors under any circumstances.

Online age confirmation

When you enter the Lost Sundays website, you will be asked to confirm that you are 18 years of age or older before proceeding.

By confirming your age and continuing to use the website, you:

• Confirm that you are 18 years of age or older
• Confirm that you are legally entitled to purchase alcohol in your state or territory
• Agree to our Terms and Conditions and Responsible Service Policy.

In-store age verification

When purchasing alcohol in-store at our Airlie Beach distillery, our team may request proof of age at their discretion.

Acceptable proof of age documents include:

• Australian driver’s licence or learner’s permit
• Australian or international passport
• Queensland proof of age card
• ImCard (Queensland Government identity card)

We reserve the right to refuse service to any person who cannot provide acceptable proof of age when requested.

Delivery age verification

For online orders, delivery of alcohol may require a signature upon receipt to confirm the recipient is 18 years of age or older.

Lost Sundays Distillery reserves the right to withhold delivery where there are reasonable grounds to believe the recipient may be under 18 years of age.

Purchasing on behalf of a minor

It is illegal in Queensland to purchase alcohol on behalf of a person under 18 years of age — commonly referred to as proxy purchasing.

Lost Sundays Distillery will not knowingly facilitate proxy purchasing and reserves the right to cancel any order where there is reason to believe alcohol may be supplied to a minor.

Reporting underage sales concerns

If you have a concern about underage alcohol sales, you can report it to the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation (OLGR) Queensland.
